2 Minutes to Midnight is a fresh design that explores the Cold War in 5-year turns, starting in 1946 and progressing through 9 turns to 1990.

The scale and depth of the game is unmatched by any other game on the market for this historical period, a detailed simulation of the Cold War. of war, covering warfare, economics, politics and trade, all in one game that doesn't hide its difficulty and focus on strategy.
One scenario takes 1-3 hours to play, and the full game takes about 7.

The game is extremely asymmetric – the US has a presidential election and a national debt to take care of, while the Soviets have to achieve their five-year plan and navigate freedom (or rather, the lack of it ) within the Soviet Union, risking the collapse of the entire communist system if reforms are undertaken too quickly.
