Board game in English.
A Feast for Odin is an epic saga in board game form. You will live through the cultural achievements, trading expeditions and destructions of the tribes known today as the Vikings, a term that was used quite differently at the end of the first millennium.
When the Northmen went on a raid, they said they were going Viking . But their Scandinavian ancestors were more than pirates, they were explorers and nation-builders. Leif Eriksson is said to have been the first European in America, long before Columbus. In the region now known as Normandy, they were known not as Vikings but as Normans. One of them was the famous William the Conqueror who conquered England in 1066. He managed to do what the Norwegian king before him failed to do – to take over the throne of England. The Vikings became such good sailors because of the hardships caused by their unfortunate agricultural situation and crop failures.
In this game you will attack and explore new territories. Also, you will experience the everyday life of the Vikings – gathering goods to ensure a full life in society. At the end of the game, the player with the highest asset value wins the game.
