Based on the story first found in the Storm King's Thunder adventure in Dungeons & Dragons, Assault of the Giants is a new board game created by Andrew Parks for 3-6 players. Players will control armies of giants and battle with each other throughout northwestern Faerun. Control your giants and attack the villages and towns of the little people to get points and resources like food, artifacts, ore and runes.
Each player will give orders to their giants in the form of command cards (recruit, move, attack, pillage and more). These cards will allow players to recruit new giants, send them to attack settlements and other giants, and will also allow you to achieve special objectives depending on the race. Each player represents a different race of giants (hill giants, stone giants, frost giants, fire giants, cloud giants or storm giants), each of which has its own objectives. For example, the Storm Giants seek to bring back their lost monarch, King Hekaton. The Cloud Giants are searching for the lost treasure of the dragons and the Hill Giants want to gather up piles of food to feed their giant monarch, Chief Guh.
