Autobahn is an economic strategy game about the construction of Germany's highway system, spanning three time periods, from the end of World War II to modern times. At the end of the second period, the reunification of Germany opens up new opportunities to expand the highway network to the eastern part of the country.
As Director of the Bundes Autobahn Organisation, you will be required to manage and develop the German Federal Autobahn System. It will be necessary not only to build roads, but also to ensure that goods continue to travel to neighboring countries and to build new gas stations that will help earn money from transport. By contributing to the development of the network, you will earn positions in the administrations of certain highways to increase your budget each period.
During the game, your henchmen will move up to more prestigious positions in the Bundesautobahn building, which instead of more money, will start providing victory points at the end of the game. Plan ahead to optimize efficiency: everything builds your reputation, which will be needed to access new departments and new ways to get points and win the game.
