In Bitoku , players will become spirits of the forest of Bitoki, who seek to rise to the next level of existence. elevating yourself and becoming the next great spirit of the forest. For this purpose, you will need the help of yokai, kodama and different pilgrims who wander around the forest. It's a hand-control, engine-building game, with multiple possible paths to victory.
The game has many different actions that can be done and this is ignoring the personal area where players can manage an extra layer of strategy by controlling the pilgrims. Pilgrims are the player's followers who go on philosophical journeys and then share their discoveries that help Bitoku rise above.
