The board game 7 Wonder Duel is finally released in Lithuanian. With this release, even non-English speakers will be able to play this award-winning and critically acclaimed game!
In many ways, 7 Wonders Duel is reminiscent of the original 7 Wonders , as it also features three ages where players collect cards that provide resources or upgrades to their armies or scientific advances to improve their civilization and end the Wonders.
What is different about this game is that, as the name suggests, the game is for two people and the players do not choose cards at the same time by rotating the card hand in a circle, but in turn from the central part of the board, where the cards are placed face down and face up. A player can only take a card if it is face up and not covered by other cards, so time management is important, as well as the power to take two cards per turn. As in the original game, each card you receive can be built, discarded for money, or used to create a worker.
Each player starts with four Miracle Cards and placing them gives the player unique powers. Only seven wonders can be built, so one of the players will be left with only three built.
At any time, players can buy resources from the bank, or receive cards during the game that will give them those resources in the future. when you get resources, the cost of those resources goes up to your opponent, which represents your dominance in that area.
A player can win a 7 Wonders Duel in one of three ways: every time you get a military card, you move the military marker towards your enemy's capital, which gives you various bonuses the closer you are and if you ever reach your opponent's capital, you win. Second, you win if you get six out of seven different science symbols and achieve complete scientific dominance. The last way to win is to win with the most points if neither of the first two wins have been achieved at the end of the game.
