Castles of Mad King Ludwig is a 2-4 player board game where you have to build room by room a magnificent and extravagant castle for King Ludwig II of Bavaria. The king loves castles, he ordered Neuschwanstein Castle to be built, but now he has ordered you to build the biggest and best castle, of course, according to his ever-changing whims. Each of the players will be a construction contractor who will build rooms in the castle at the same time and sell their services to other players. During the game, you will each start with a simple lobby, one of the players will become the top builder and set the prices for a set of rooms that can be bought by other players, leaving him to choose only the rooms that are not bought by other players. When a room is added to a castle, the player who built it receives castle points based on the location of the room. When a room is completed (all exits lead to other rooms in the castle), the player receives one of 7 special rewards. After each round of purchases, a new player becomes the supreme builder, who sets the prices for new rooms. After a few rounds the game is over, bonus points are awarded for certain achievements, having the most popular rooms and the player who was most responsive to the king's wishes, which change during each game. The player with the most castle points wins.
