Cat in the Box is a Japanese card game based on the ideas of quantum mechanics. Players play cards of different values from their hand, but the suit of the cards is undetermined until a card is placed and the cat is released from the box.
The game lasts three rounds with three players and four rounds with four players. Players start the game by betting how many hands they will win, based only on what they see in their hand. The cats on the cards have no suits at this stage. Players will receive points for winning moves and will receive even more points if they meet the conditions of their bets.
Players will have to choose cards carefully to avoid paradoxes of who ends rounds and gives penalties.
