You are the head of a family in one of Italy's city-states, a city ruled by weak and corrupt bureaucrats. You need to manipulate, bluff and buy your way to power. Your goal is to destroy the influence of the other families and drive them into exile. Only one family can survive…

In Coup , you want to be the last player with the influence in the game represented by the face-down character cards in your play area.

Each player starts the game with 2 coins and 2 influences – that is, two character cards face down in their zone. In a fifteen-card deck, you'll find three copies of five character cards, each with unique powers.

The last player left with influence on the table wins the game!
