After your efforts to close the rifts of reality In the Clutches of Chaos , you have left your city and world and traveled an impossible distance, but you are still many miles away from the dark throne where your ultimate enemy awaits you. As you pursue your destiny across multiple realities, you may need to throw an "empty space" into play, that is, lose the top card of your deck and set it aside face down, thus showing your increasing separation from your reality and humanity. It is not a location, cannot be visited or explored, and the only way to get your lost card back is to replace it with a Cosmos location card. These impossible locations, drawn from the new Cosmos deck, do not have locations that they connect to. Each Cosmos card has a combination of rules that must be followed in order to help it. Tearing yourself away from everything you know, it can be easy to surrender to the unknown, but even if your efforts only delay the inevitable, the fight is not over!
