The fifth major expansion for Carcassonne , Abbey & Mayor adds 3 new types of wooden pieces, 6 abbey tables and 12 landscape tables. Abbey Tables work like Cloisters, but must not overlap side tables when placed. Mayors can only be placed in cities, but their strength is determined by the number of pennats in the city. Barns allow players to get points for fields before the end of the game, not just at the very end. Wagons can be placed on roads, cities or monasteries and can move on a free compound after the current one is over.
