Freezing winds roar across the Frozen Expanse, where Kaiika lives and fearsome Frost Giants crawl through the snow. Queen Gimnax has sent you to this cursed area with the remains of her last expedition: a tattered map partially completed by a previous cartographer who did not survive his journey. Now it's your job to complete the Frozen Expanse map with your previous co-worker's failed work as your guide. You will find 75 new double-sided map sheets, with already discovered cells and a frozen lake. Also two new ambush cards and one new hero card. In the add-on, you'll find a new mechanic focused on terrain placement and big gold rewards for surrounding a lake and finding an artifact at its bottom.
