Five Tribes: The Artisans of Naqala is the first expansion for Five Tribes and introduces a new tribe to the game and players will want to use these artisans to help them in their mission to capture the Sultanate.
Artists are represented in the game by purple people and allow players to craft expensive items or magical items, some of which will be worth Victory Points (VP) and others will unlock special powers for the owner.
To use the artists, you will need to visit the special tables found in this expansion: workshops (where artists create their masterpieces) and specialized markets (where players can buy specific products they need). An additional table in the game has an impassable chasm and this table – like mountain markers – forces players to adapt to new areas where they will need to move their people.
