In the Terraforming Mars Ares Expedition: Crisis expansion, players will play as corporations, just like in the original game. You will choose phases and play project cards as usual. The difference is that players will have to work together to keep Mars habitable after a natural disaster has pushed the planet into crisis. Each round, a new Crisis card will be drawn, requiring players to achieve some sort of goal to remove Crisis from the game. At every turn, if the crisis is not dealt with, it will make Mars less and less habitable.
Deal with crises as they arise. Finally, a Crisis card will be drawn, allowing players to win the game by re-ending the terraforming of Mars.
