Furnace is a Euro game where players become nineteenth-century capitalists building industrial corporations and wanting to make as much money as possible by buying companies, extracting resources and combining them into the best possible combinations.
Each player starts the game with a random starting card with resources drawn on top and four colored discs numbered 1-4. At the end of four rounds, the player with the most money wins.
In Furnace you will also find capitalist cards with unique effects and if you want, you can deal one of them to each player at the beginning of the game. For an added challenge, you can require players to create a production chain where each newly purchased company card is placed somewhere in the chain and locked for the rest of the game.
