Board game Imperial settlers is a card game for the development of your small civilization.
Each player develops his civilization and its characteristics by building buildings and tries to earn as many victory points as possible.
The game features four different nations with their own individual decks of cards and one deck of common building cards. The game consists of five rounds and as many moves as the players can make. At the beginning of each round, players are dealt a certain amount of their nation and community cards. Also, depending on the selected nation's main available resources and already built buildings, players receive a certain amount of resources. Using the received cards and resources, players can build various buildings that provide a certain amount of resources, features or privileges, and can also make deals and attack other players by destroying common buildings built by them. Various resources or victory points can be obtained for destroyed buildings.
Common cards provide two options for how they can be used: either they can be burned to gain one-time resources or cards, or they can be built to gain permanent resources, traits, or additional actions. Nation cards also provide two options – you can make a deal, which provides additional resources every turn, or you can build a building, which, as in the case of common buildings, provides additional permanent resources, features or actions.
Whoever has the most victory points wins the game. Victory points can be obtained during the game by performing various actions or attacking opponents, and at the end of the game by obtaining 1 victory point for each general building built, and two victory points for each nation building built.
This is a board game with fairly simple rules, but deep enough and highly replayable, recommended for anyone who likes economic development games and takes 1-2 hours to complete.
