Imperial Struggle is a two-player game depicting the 18th century rivalry between France and Britain. It begins in 1697, when both countries are waiting for the King of Spain to declare his successor, and ends in 1789, when a new regime occupies the Bastille. The game is not only about war, both France and Britain will have to build the foundations of the colonial system, negotiate with other European countries and compete around the world.
