Moon River uses a system similar to Kingdomino – but without dominoes.
In the game, you will create your own tableau terrain to earn points, but instead of placing dominoes on your terrain, players will place half dominoes, one side of which has a puzzle piece-like end. You put these two puzzle pieces together to create your own dominoes. This mechanism provides more variation and randomness in games.
Instead of building your terrain around a central castle, you'll start at the river and expand away. The crowns used in Kingdomino have been changed to cows in this game and players will be able to use cowboys to move them around.
