Onitama is an abstract strategy game for two players with completely random starting positions. On a 5×5 grid, both players start with 5 pawns in random positions on their side of the board, with the main piece in the middle. Each turn, players choose from five cards how one of their pawns will move, according to the scheme drawn on the card. The player wins if he removes the opponent's main piece from the board or places his main piece on the opponent's home square.
