In The Quacks of Quedlinburg , players are quacks, or fake doctors, each trying to create their own secret potion by adding one ingredient at a time. Add the ingredients carefully, because too much of some ingredients can ruin the entire viral!
Each player has their own bag of ingredient tokens. During each round, they simultaneously draw chips from the bags and place them in their pots. The higher the numerical value on the drawn chip, the further the chip needs to be placed, which raises the value of your viral. Try your luck, but if you add too many cherry bombs, your viral will explode!
At the end of a round, players receive victory points and coins to spend on new ingredients, depending on how well they filled their pots. But players whose pots have to choose either points or money – not both! The player with the most victory points at the end of 9 rounds wins.
