In Tzolk'in: The Mayan Calendar – Tribes & Prophecies , each player becomes the leader of a specific tribe, each with a special power that only that player can use. You will find 13 tribes in the game, which will provide a lot of variety. (You know that 13 is a scary and mystical number).

With this addition, the game of Tzolk'in: The Mayan Calendar is affected by three prophecies that are revealed in advance and fulfilled when the time comes. These prophecies give players opportunities to earn points, but they can also lose points if they are not prepared for the effects of the prophecies. Like the tribes, you will find 13 prophecies in the supplement. (Wow, 13 again!)

This expansion also features new buildings and components that will allow the game to be played with up to five players.
