The co-op gameplay first seen in Portal Detective: A Modern Crime Board Game returns in Dune: House Secrets , bringing with it a highly themed experience that drops one to four players in the midst of dramatic events on the brutal desert planet of Arrakis.
In this story-driven adventure game, players become rebels who must solve a series of challenging missions with limited time and resources. Players cooperatively make decisions on how to continue the story as they explore different regions of the world, follow clues, exploit allies, and defeat their opposition. During the game, players will use a variety of physical and digital components – a deck of cards with important hints and plot twists, a dozen physical brochures and dedicated web pages for additional resources. All to keep the narrative flowing in the name of an interesting and immersive experience.
