Board game in English.
Created by Stan Kordonskiy and Jonny Pac, solo mode by Drake Villareal and illustrated by The Mico, Endless Winter: Paleoamericans is set in North America, around 10 thousand years BC. Players lead their tribes as they progress through generations, from nomadic hunters to sedentary tribes. During the game, tribes migrate and settle new lands, create cultural traditions, hunt paleolithic megafauna, and build surviving megalithic structures.
Endless Winter is a Euro-style game that combines the mechanics of assigning workers and building decks in a new innovative way. Each round, players send members of their tribe to various action locations and pay for actions by playing cards or spending resources. Tribal cards add extra work, while Culture cards provide a whole variety of unique effects. Alternatively, cards can be saved until the end of the round in the Eclipse phase, where they are turned over simultaneously, setting up a new player turn and activating additional actions.
The game features many related systems and mechanics, such as multi-purpose cards, zonal influence, tableauing, and set-building. Plus, there are many ways to win. After four quick rounds, points are tallied and the tribe with the most points wins.
