An Ottoman army of 100 thousand soldiers arrived near the Habsburg capital, Vienna. 12 thousand infantry, city soldiers and civilian soldiers are desperately trying to defend themselves. As the Ottoman siege lines close in on the city walls, the outnumbered defenders of Vienna cling to the hope that reinforcements will arrive in time to rescue them. For both sides, the real battle is a race against time.
Fire & Stone: Siege of Vienna 1683 puts you in one of the most dramatic sieges in history. With completely different card decks for each player, you will launch deadly attacks against impregnable fortifications, dig tunnels full of explosives and launch desperate attacks to stop your enemy's progress. Or you can add powerful events with the ability to change the course of battle!
In the box you will also find a history of the siege and information about 17th century warfare (this knowledge is not necessary to play this game).
