The multi-award winning strategy game Hansa Teutonica returns with a Big Box version containing the base game and all expansions. In the game, players try to raise their status in the Hanseatic League by gaining prestige points in various ways. For example, they might try to create a network of counting offices in the new Hanseatic cities by occupying all the trade routes between the cities – but before that happens, other players can prevent them from doing so. Players can also try to improve their trading skills by improving their abilities during the game. With only two actions per turn and a wide variety of options, each turn is fast and strategically complex.
Hansa Teutonica is a highly interactive strategy game where players block and push each other every turn, giving crafty players the chance to turn blocking into an opportunity. The game's many possible strategies can also be tested and refined on alternative game boards found in the H ansa Teutonica: Britannia and Hansa Teutonica: East Expansion expansions.
