ISS Vanguard is a 1-4 player co-op campaign board game. It will take players directly into an epic Sci-Fi adventure, where they will play in one of four sections (security, recon, science, engineering) on the first human spaceship that has the ability to reach beyond the solar system. The campaign will present a unique story written by Krzysztof Piskorski ( Tainted Grail ) full of difficult choices, intrigue and changing fates. The game features more than 100 different crew members, each with unique characteristics.
The game is divided into two main phases: the ship phase and the landed phase.
During the Ship phase, players will control their own ship where each section will have to make in-game choices. Then, you prepare your crew to land on another planet in search of answers to humanity's most pressing questions. Together, you will choose how to land, what modules to use and then each section will choose a crew member to go on a mission, build a skill deck, pick up the necessary equipment and choose dice for the character.
Throughout the phases, players will have to take into account the Log-book, where you will find the events of the story, often written as dialogue between the characters.
