In 324 AD, Emperor Constantine chose the old city of Byzantium on the shores of the Bosphorus Sea as the site of his new capital. He called it Nova Roma, which means New Rome. To build his impressive new capital, the Emperor summoned his most trusted patricians and gave them various jobs. With the support of the Emperor, this massive work was completed in just six years.
In the game Nova Roma, you will control an ancient noble family of Rome. You will need to assign family members and mercenaries to complete certain objectives. Construct buildings, dominate the sea lanes, secure resources, race on the racecourse and hire specialists. At the end of the game, the family that has done the most to please the Emperor and achieve their agenda goals wins the game.
