The Grizzled is a cooperative game about life in the trenches during World War I where players win or lose together. Each round, the team leader chooses how many cards each player will draw. Then going around the table, players must either play a card or exit the mission. Each card represents either a difficulty for their team (cannon fire, severe weather) or a negative trait for them (scared). At the end of the round, more cards are added to the deck. The game ends when the deck runs out of cards and the players have no more cards, but the time does not have to run out.
