In The Witcher: Old World , you become a witch – a professional monster slayer – and immerse yourself in the legendary universe of The Witcher franchise.
Set many years before the story of Geralt of Rivia, The Witcher: Old World explores a time when monsters roamed the Continent in greater numbers, creating a constant threat that required expert, trained monster slayers known as witches to destroy. The five competing schools trained the students in brutal regimes, and once they were fully trained, the witches were released to explore the Continent, seek out monsters, adventure, and help others for money.
In this competitive adventure board game, 2-5 players travel across a giant map, embarking on missions, facing and making difficult moral choices, fighting monsters, and even challenging other witches to defend the honor of their school.
The game allows players to create their own unique decks of cards by choosing from a wide range of abilities: attacks, dashes, and witches' combat magic – known as "marks". Through card synergy, players aim to perform powerful combos using their witch school abilities to their limits. Missions, battles, and even dice poker allow players to earn money, get new items, and train new abilities.
In the game, you will find a Solo mode, which allows you to go on adventures around the Continent alone.
