Tournament at Avalon takes players to the land where Excalibur was forged, enhancing the innovative mechanics found in Tournament at Camelot with new characters, cards and mechanics that allow players to focus on informal diplomacy or alliances alongside the standard combat of the original game. It's a deep and rewarding experience on its own, with added depth and complexity for players who own both games.
In the game, you will play as legendary characters fighting opponents using weapon cards: arrows, swords, cheats, spells and even alchemy. The more damage you do to your enemies, the better you perform in the tournament. However, even the most wounded characters can turn the tide of the game with the help of Godsend cards and special helpers. This card game ends when one enemy is wounded to death. The player with the most lives left is then declared the winner of the tournament!
