After harnessing the destructive energy of the Forge World in its weaponry, the Vanguard is so drenched in radiation that even approaching them is a death sentence. Their victory is pyrrhic, as this radiation burns away even their heavy armor plate, slowly poisoning them to death, even as their carbines cause (much quicker) demise of their enemies. Skitar rangers are relentless and merciless hunter-killers. For them, the fight is not over until their enemy is destroyed – even if it means chasing them across galaxies and decades.
