The Wise One, the immortal keeper of wisdom and knowledge, has sent Demigods endowed with earth-shattering power to the very edges of humanity. In the air game, each player embodies one of the Demigods. They must train their Followers in the wisdom of the mountains through teachings, worship and experience. And only on the very tops of the mountains can the greatest secrets be discovered.

Oros is a table smashing, volcano launching, mountain building, wisdom gathering, action and economy game. On individual player boards, players move their Followers between action cells, allowing them to manipulate the divided environment like a large puzzle of tectonic plates. Action tiles allow players to move lands, smash land tables, create and release volcanoes, worship to gain wisdom, move their Followers around ever-moving terrain, and build shrines for learning and worship in the mountains. Building shrines and worshiping at shrines brings wisdom that can be used to improve the actions available in each area. Wisdom is also used to improve the values of each shrine at the end of the game, as well as to achieve other goals that provide points at the end of the game.
