In World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King , players travel to the frozen continent of Northrend to battle the armies of the Lich King. This Pandemic System game has all the familiar mechanics and gameplay systems, enhanced to match the story of Wrath of the Lich King . Forts, temples, battlefields and more are found on the board as you and other heroes travel across the cold lands. Along the way, you'll build fortresses, complete missions, and battle legions of the undead.
In detail, players work together as legendary heroes from across Azeroth, each with unique powers to aid both in battle and on the board. Heroes like Thrall, Warchief of the Horde; Varian Wrynn, King of Stormwind; Sylvan Windrunner, Banshee Queen of the Forsaken; and more are available to you. As Scourge grows, more undead will appear on the board. Roll the dice as you battle hordes of wraiths and menacing abominations, use hero cards to power up your attacks, block enemy attacks, heal wounds, travel to distant locations, and more.
